Nice to have an extra key in case you find a secret room later in the dungeon. Then I bring 2 shovels and 2 keys for short and medium dungeons. In the longer dungeons you almost always find extra torches, and if you're using vestol/crusader then it's easy to get away with fewer torches by using their torch bonus abilities. This is usually a few too many, but if the dungeon is laid out really poorly having extra torches can be nice. You can bring a little less in the warrens and weald if you use medicinal herbs like others have said.īring a full stack of torches for short dungeons, a stack and a half for medium and 2 full stacks for long dungeons. Sometimes you'll use it all, sometimes you won't. This means I often end up with extra, but I can use it to heal. ![]()
